The switching action of the solar converter generates total harmonic distortion (THDi) in power output. The LCL filter is used to reduce the harmonic distortion.
Common mode chokes
On the common mode choke both line and neutral windings are wound on the same core. Common mode chokes suppress high frequency noise (common mode noise).
RFI filters suppress the radio frequency interference in the Solar Converter.
